"Follow me, you piece of shit," Kathy said before walking towards the exit. I followed behind her. After two minutes, We reached the back of the school building. I looked at her confusedly. Why were we here?
"We are here so that no one would be able to hear our conversation," Kathy said with a big grin plastered on her face. What was she planning?
"Oh, okay," I paused. "So, what did you want me to do?"
"Well, you see, Xanthos is made for me and I'm made for him. We both are soulmates. However, he isn't accepting that fact," she sighed. "He likes you," she paused whilst glaring at me. "No, Scratch that. He loves you," she spat the last sentence as if it gave a bitter taste on her tongue.
I chuckled. She thought he loved me? He hated me now. I stared at her. Was she really being serious? "He hates me because he thinks I'm a whore."
"So, he knows about this. Well, I want you to make him hate you more." Uh? I was about to shake my head but got interrupted. "Your secret."
I immediately nodded my head approvingly. "B-but I have no idea on how to make him hate me more."
"Neither do- wait, I want to have some fun today. Xanthos loves the black jacket that he's wearing today. It's his favourite jacket. You have to just do one thing. Spoil it or tear it." My eyes widened. How was I supposed to do that? I didn't want anyone suffering just so that I could hide my own secret. I knew how it feels to lose something or someone that we adore the most.
"No, I'm not going to do that. Spread whatever you want," I said confidently. Kathy had a shocked expression on her face before it turned smug.
"Don't worry, you needn't do what I have told you to," Kathy said with a mischievous smirk on her face. Why was she smirking? I just rejected her 'order'. I turned around and walked back to the Physical Education class.
When I entered, I saw students playing Basketball. I felt a tap on my right shoulder. I turned around to only find Mr.Milan glaring at me.
"Where were you. Ms.Alby?" He asked sternly.
"Umm, sir, I needed some fresh air. I felt like throwing up my breakfast. Please forgive me for running out of the class without taking your permission, sir." I bowed my head down to show him that I was truly sorry.
"It's fine, dear. Are you okay now? Would you be able to play basketball?" He asked genuinely.
"Thank you for accepting my apology, sir." I looked at the Basketball court and saw how vigorously everyone was playing. "I would like to sit for some time." He nodded his head before walking away from me to the court.
I sat down on a bench and looked at the people who were engaged in playing vividly. Kathy too was playing. Hold on, when did she reach here? I just shook my head. I just randomly stared around.
I heard howls and awe. I snapped my head towards the where the sounds were coming from. My gaze immediately landed on a shirtless Xanthos who was talking to the couch while making his way towards the changing room. People gathered around him and cheered loudly.
"You're the best player in basketball Alpha Xanthos," A blond boy with blue eyes shouted in front of me.
I looked at the girls following Xanthos. They were trying to gain his attention. However, he didn't even glance at them. I felt glad that he didn't give his attention to them.
I just continued to watch at him from where I was sitting. As if he felt my gaze, he turned his head towards me. I smiled at him which made his gaze softened. His lips tilted a bit on both the corners, but he masked his face with an emotionless expression.
My smile vanished away from my lips when I saw him turn his head back to the coach. I stood up from the bench I was sitting and walked towards Natasha and Mason, who were coming out of the change room.
"Hey," I greeted them in a small voice.
"Hiya Ella, Where were you? Why didn't you join the game?" Natasha questioned with one eyebrow raised.
"I was sitting on that bench." I pointed at the bench I was sitting before using my thumb. They both gave me a look of disbelief.
"What?" I asked confused.
"Weren't you with that Barbie doll at the backside of the school?" I look at them in shock. How did they know?
"How-" Mason cut me off
"We followed you and her." He shrugged his shoulders.
"She asked you to do what she tells you," Natasha said.
"She asked you to spoil Xanthos jacket but you resisted," Mason added.
"Where you two eavesdropping?" I asked them with widened eyes.
"You could say that. We actually came behind you, so that the Barbie doll wouldn't do any harm to you."
"Thank you-" A loud growl echoed inside the room making everyone take a step back. Xanthos walked out of the changing room with a furious expression on his face. His eyes were nearly black in colour.
"Who the fuck dared to touch my things?!" His voice sounded very deep than before. What things? Why was he sounding so angry? "Answer me before I tear each one of you apart," What? How could a person tear another?
"Xanth-Alpha, I know who did what," Kathy said with a smug face. Xanthos growled at her to tell him. "Well, it was her." She pointed her index finger whilst accusingly glaring at me. Xanthos turned his head around to look at me. His eyes were now completely black.
"I saw her walk into your room. So, I followed her. Then she-she tore your jacket, muttering a 'face it now, you bitch'." I looked at her; gobsmacked. Why was she blaming me? Xanthos took slow strides towards me. His eyes lit up because of rage. I cowered back in fear. My body started trembling, I was shaking like a leaf. Was he going to hurt me? Was he going to tear me apart as he said?
"Xanthos! She didn't do anything!" Mason shouted. However, Xanthos continued walking towards me. "Vlaxin! Did you seriously believe Kathy? That too over Bella?" Vlaxin? It was his family doctor's name, wasn't it?
Xanthos just chuckled darkly. "Don't know Mason, she's no longer innocent."
"Vlaxin You're not thinking straight. Just listen-" I got lifted up in the air by my hair. I let out a cry as I felt my hair being held in a fist.
"P-pleas-" I sobbed.
"Please what? Tell me. To let you down? Is it hurting? I felt my heart rip to shreds when I came to know that you ar-"
"Yeah! People," Kathy interrupted Xanthos. "She ain't a virgin. She lost it for fun. Just an extra informa-"
"You fucking Bitch!" Natasha exclaimed glaring at Kathy. "Do you even know how did she actually lose?" Natasha was breathing heavily. She had tears forming in her eyes.
"So, do tell me how did she 'actually' became impure," Kathy demanded with a smirk plastered on her face.
Natasha looked at me with sorry eyes before she told the truth out loud. "She was fucking raped when she was fourteen! Do you know that?" Immediately after she shouted those words out, tears flew freely from my eyes.
I looked at Xanthos who was staring at me with a shocked expression. He gently dropped me back to my feet. But my leg collapsed, making me fall to the ground. He crouched down in front of me. I stared at his face. His eyes held regret and sadness.
"B-Bella..." I wiped my tears and let out a humourless laugh.
"Bella what? Tell me. Regretting? Or happy that I'm not a 'whore' like you thought?"
"Bella..please forgive me. I didn't mean to-I should have known you're naive. I shouldn't have acted without thinking."
"Xanthos or Vlaxin w-whoever yo-you are, you-you cannot j-just ig-ignore a-and befriend m-me," I stuttered, still trembling in fear.
"Bella, please stop fearing me. That jacket was special to not only me but even to my mate. It was my birthday gift. You umm-my mate designed it with her own hands. Her dedication and hard work that she put in making it for me were what made it more special."
I felt a pang of pain when he said it was a 'her'. The way he spoke, it was as though he was deeply in love with her. Why was I feeling troubled that he is in love with someone?
"Oh!"
"Vlaxin, would you be asking who actually tore your jacket?" Mason asked while glaring at Kathy. His soft gaze turned hard when he looked at Kathy.
"Aww! Is Kathy getting scared? Where are you running Kathy? Away from me? Away from Vlaxin?" His tone was dark.
Kathy was walking past the crowd when she suddenly came to a halt. Xanthos was still in his crouch position with me in the ground. His eyes turned Gold in colour. My eyes widened. "Voodoo magic!" I whisper-yelled.
He nodded and grinned at me. "Voodoo magic." He wiggled his fingers from up to down.
I looked at Kathy, who was now coming in our direction by flying or more like being dragged in the air. Xanthos was looking at me with adoration as I was watching at his magic in awe.
Kathy landed to the ground with a thud. She kneeled down in pain and pouted. "Mi compañero, please stop."

Xanthos chuckled. "Do you still believe that you're our mate?" His voice sounded normal. I looked at him properly. He looked normal. Like how I first met him. How is that possible?
"Xanthos, my wolf is literary screaming to me that you are our mate." Her wolf? Did she lose her neuron cells?
"Firstly, don't you fucking dare call me by my name." He growled.
I got up immediately and closed my ears. He too stood up and looked at me with widened eyes.
"Oh, goddess! I'm really sorry." He reached out for me and pulled me into his chest and started stroking my hair gently.
"Hey! Xan! It's fine," I reassured him. I pulled away from him and turned my attention to the crowd who were looking as if they were hit by a thunderbolt. I laughed, staring at their shocked faces.
"What's so funny, bitchy shit?" Kathy snapped at me. Her voice was deeper than her normal. Xanthos and I turned to look at her.
"Oh Sabina, it's nice to meet you after a very long time." His voice dropped two octaves. What's going on? Sabina? Meet her after a long time?
Kathy took a daring step forward. "Hey, Love!" She said.
Love?
"Don't fucking disrespect mate!" He lifted his hands but I grabbed them and shook my head.
"No, she's just head over heels for you. She'll overcome it. Don't hit her or use your power." He tilted his head to his right. Was he admiring me?
"If that's what you wish, my queen." He bowed his head making me laugh. "Sabina, You have got five seconds to get away from our sight." Kathy immediately ran away. Xanthos turned towards me.
"Bella, I'm really sorry! From now onwards we're going to be close mates. Okay?"
"Okay!"
