I doubt anyone really remembers me due to my longterm absence and the fact that this is a large community. I am Lucy, the author of the now deleted "Mine Now~". Through my year long break I have noticed alot of things.
To begin with, my original novel wasn't something i really enjoyed making. It had many stereotypes and was just a horribly written story that I wrote out of boredom while in Haiti. When I got back home i dreaded adding on to the storyline so i threw every possible harmful "character trait" into the book and called it a day. I deeply apologize for that.
I'm sorry for not providing my small but pleasant viewers with a series that could be genuinely enjoyed. I took some time to think about what I've done but was initially not able to fully grasp my wrong doings. This was the start of "P@nC//k3s~" (Pancakes).
At the time of planning Pancakes, I wanted to embrace the concept of 'Mutually Toxic'. I did not portray the feeling I was going for in a good way.
While writing and planning it I wasn't able to get past the beginning chapters due to my insolence. I dehumanized my own community due to my previous "inspiration". I as a black man didn't feel comfortable publishing it and disappeared from writing to improve my art skills instead. Focusing on art was definitely the best course of action. I definitely feel as if I have grown beyond this and wanted to share my sincere feelings and remorse.
As for the update;
I will be starting a new novel. This will still a a gay (bxb) systematic book but this time, I intend to learn, grow, and try my hardest. Thank you for your time, I hope to be as honest and reliable as possible for those of you that'll allow me the opportunity.
