Chapter 5 - Birthday Disappointment

The day of Ray's birthday had so much happening that Ray had to hide in her room. It started with Andora demanding Edgar try for another child while she visited very loudly.

"They don't need any more children," Ray said aloud. Of course Simon heard her.

"Ray! Those are our parents!" Simon yelled. He was defensive about his parents.

Ray rolled her eyes, she knew there mom only wanted an heir and got pretty angry about it. "I love you Simon," Ray said, when she got angry she always tried to show her family love so she wouldn't say something she would regret.

Simon hated this. He stomped away.

Ray waited for Ian to arrive since Ian always came early. He usually arrived close to an hour before the party because he wanted to spend time with Ray alone. Ray knew he had a crush on her. She had a 26 plus year old brain in a 13 year old body. So even though she remembered what 'going all the way' had been like, she had an untouched body just now going through puberty. This meant that even though she knew better she blushed at Ian's advances. He was just so cute! She wondered how he would look as an adult.

Ian arrived and instantly Ray blushed at her thoughts. Ian smiled, "I always wonder what you are thinking when you blush like that," he inched closer to her.

"I'm thinking how much of a dork you are!" Ray smiled, playfully punching Ian's arm.

Ian laughed, he still didn't know what a dork was. He kissed her cheek and walked to the kitchen to get a drink.

Ray felt her face redden and held in a squeal. Why did she have to go through puberty a second time!? She still hadn't seen her parents yet and that made her stomach flop. Zen would arrive about 10 minutes before the scheduled time. She also had a crush on Ray. Zen admited shortly after her own birthday that she didn't like boys. Ray told her that she understood. Ray herself had been bi in her past life but she didn't really know how she felt in this life. Sexuality really didn't matter to her since she felt like a pedo everytime she thought about the group she hung out with. Now that her body wanted to explore her mind couldn't help but wonder and she had to pretend that it wasn't weird.

Ten minutes after the other guests arrived Zen and Ian got into a fight.
