Lan Ling looked at the balance on the card and silently counted a string of zeroes.
Finally, she took a deep breath.
She turned off her phone's screen.
"Miss Chi, I'm not lacking in money," she said.

"I've suddenly become a bit interested in you," Lan Ling said.
With a professional smile, Lan Ling extended her hand, "Then, it's a pleasure to cooperate."
Chuzheng shook it, "Pleasure to cooperate."
Lan Ling brought up a few new terms, amended the contract, and after Chuzheng had no objections, they both signed the contract.
"You're still trending on social media," Lan Ling said, sliding into her role as agent after signing the contract, "Is it really just because you broke up with Chu Anyang that you ended your contract with Eastern Entertainment?"
