Few months has gone by in a zap Tommy's back in school and Katie back in her very normal job as a accountant, for her dads company and a second hand renowned restaurant owner with over 500K restaurants everywhere it got famous because of the hero calamity or at least ex hero foods good income is good everything is happy and going well for Tommy, Katie, and David of course on the weekends Katie and Tommy are training his powers getting him way stronger then ever and so far training is a success of course training wouldn't be training without its downside Katie, and David have gotten hurt in fact Tommy Tommy broke his arm and Katie has a scar over her right cheek the downsides didn't stop pouring, of course Katie's big brother had died he was a hero known as the arc as his abilities aloud him to release big balls of Fire he was impaled by a spike by a vigilante named well he doesn't have a official name they call him black steel Katie, looked at a newspaper about a recent attack done by blue steel Katie saw he sometimes targets retired hero's they found his base and ransacked it they found his next target Katie moved her finger to look at the name she gulped and was scared then she read the name and she had every right to fair the next person on the list as the next person... is her she trembled in fear, then her phone rang she had sweated and decided to let it ring for a few moments in fear then at the last moment she picked it up and suddenly lost all fears finding out it was just the school teacher informing her Tommy had threw up and was sent to the nurse with a temperature of 110 Katie's, eyes widened she picked her Keys up and ran to her phone instantly hanging up the phone she sped to the school quickly signing in she ran to the nurses, office she then sees a male guy over the age of 20 examining Tommy's breathing he slowly reacts to the door slamming open Katie, sees the knocked out boy on the bed with puke on his clothes and some of his puke in the basket she could tell by his breathing he isn't doing well when she tried to pick him up the nurse grabbed Katie's shoulder Katie, then proceeded to stop "it isn't best to move him as it seems the sickness he has could cause greater damage if he's moved," the nurse had said but Katie still worried "look there's already an ambulance that's coming over with that bed thing it should at least take an hour with the traffic outside to get here" the nurse said then Katie began not to worry she had laid down next to the heavy breathing Tommy, Katie noticed he shifted so she put him in a hug stopping him from moving he cried out in his sleep mama don't go so she held him tighter he stopped crying for Katie she frowned remembering that day she starts to cry "don't worry this time I won't leave I'll stay as much as you need I'll stay little one okay I'll stay," Katie said crying a bit the nurse looked at Katie and Tommy, wondering what made him cry but he didn't have the rights to know of a family background then he waits checking Tommy's temperature here and there an hour later the ambulance arrive Katie wakes up to them patting Tommy on the moving bed she instantly gets up and runs after holding Tommy's, shivering hand she enters the ambulance it took 2 hours too get back with all the traffic they instantly moved him to a room Katie enters Tommy's room and looks at the doctors putting the iv in and wondering is that really necessary then one of the doctors walked towards Katie rereading every word "what's wrong with him is he going to be ok," Katie said worried "yes it seems Tommy has Hepatoblastoma now it's simple all we need to do is remove a part of his liver now his fever isn't helping so we have to do the surgery as soon as possible," the doctor said calmly "ok" Katie said worriedly she then kissed Tommy's, forehead.
