"Can we discuss it in the morning, Miss Gene. It is quite late." Gary sighs.
"Yes, we can discuss it tomorrow in more detail, but I need to know what Asger told you." She crosses her arms. "I keep having the same damn dream of that oracle telling me to read it."
"Asger said that the book emits a lot of magical power, but he couldn't determine the source." Gary leans back on his desk. "He said the pages are empty."
"What? Empty?"
"Yes, nothing is written inside. That is why he said he has to study it a bit more. Magic is not something to trifle with, Miss Gene."
"I know that." Gene whispers. "Fine, I will wait and bear with the nightmares of the eyeless oracle."
"That is generous of you." Gary chuckles.
"On a different note, though, I need a bath."
"Ah yes, Ragna told me that you were asking about it."
"It is very inconvenient that your room is the only one with a tub."
