Siv leans over the bucket again to empty whatever is left in her stomach, which is probably nothing.
"Ugh, damn it." She lies down in her bed. "This is a hundred times worse than the carriages."
'Leave it to my luck to keep me locked in my room puking, while I am onboard what looks like a beautiful fifteenth century ship.'
"Miss Gene." Asger calls after knocking.
"Yes?" The boy enters with a bowl in his hand.
"The captain told me that you feel seasick, so I made you a tonic." Siv eyes the bowl in his hand.
"That is really sweet of you, so please don't be offended because I am not going to drink it."
"Why is that? It is just a mixture of herbs."
"Well, last time I drank something like that, I ended up with a different body."
"Then, I'll take a sip to prove that it is not harmful." Asger sips the liquid before Siv can even respond. She sighs.
