"I have missed you." Gary whispers against Siv's neck, his body still spasming with pleasure.
It takes Siv a few seconds to register his words. She smiles and wraps her arms around him. They lie there for a while, naked, their limbs entangled. There is no other place either of them would rather be.
"I have missed you more." Siv finally utters. "Let us not be apart again."
"I agree." Gary slides to the side and pulls her closer against him.
"Do you think we stand a chance in this war?" Siv asks after a long silence.
"I think we do, if Skagen does not reinforce Pyama." He answers.
"Their numbers are still greater than ours."
