Siv is grateful that she does not have to wear a fancy dress for dinner. She has gotten so used to pants that she is ready to throw away all of her dresses. The duchess does not share her enthusiasm for men's clothes, but thankfully she is not saying anything tonight.
After her encounter with Chief Eydis, Siv was invited to join her for a bath but she had to decline. First, she had just taken a bath. Second, there were way too many men around. And lastly, the chief was a bit too naked for her to get in bath with.
