Chapter 120 - Fireworks

Chief Ingemar and his wife Oda lead the way. Siv and the duchess follow closely behind. They arrive in front of a bedroom door that the old chief unlocks and opens. The room is dark, not because of the absence of windows, but because all the curtains are closed. Whoever lives here probably can't even tell whether it is morning or night. 

Siv walks in along the others, she notices that the room is moderately decorated. It is evident that it is a child's room, though. There are toys laying on the floor and a few plushies and dolls on the bed. 

"Eir, come greet our guests child." Ingemar calls. It takes Siv a few seconds to realize that there is a child sitting in the far corner of the room. The little girl, who can't be a day older then twelve, slowly walks toward them. "This is our daughter, Eir." The old chief introduces.

"Hello, Eir." Siv greets.

"Hello." The girl utters while bowing her head.
