Hazel originally didn't expect her husband to be someone their children would look up to but he had been such a positive influence on Henry. Whenever he encountered some sort of problem, he always went straight to his dad.
Will kept her in the loop as per their agreement. Though Henry struggled socially and didn't always understand why certain things were considered wrong, he was a good kid and it was largely because Will understood where he was coming from.
She did worry sometimes that he would spend his entire life alone but at the very least she, Will, and Maisie would be there for him to fall back on. That was what families were for.
"I don't think you have anything to worry about," Hazel reassured her daughter.
"What are you worrying about?" Henry asked from the doorway as he passed by.
"Maisie doesn't want you to go away to uni."
