"Not at all. Henry is a happy, well-adjusted boy and he gets along with his sister," Will said truthfully.
Emma sighed. "I thought that might be the case. I suspect there is more to this incident that meets the eye. I do not believe Henry to be a violent person. Whatever happened…I suspect he was provoked."
Yep. Definitely familiar. Will had to handle this differently than Charlie had even though he was fairly certain that it happened because of shared traits between father and son.
"I'll talk to him," he promised. "This shouldn't happen again."
The headmistress nodded before letting him go. Henry jumped up guiltily with a look of panic on his face.
Will mussed up his hair. "Relax, I'm not mad at you. Let's go."
He took his son to get some fish and chips to share and they sat down on a bench in a nearby park to talk. He needed to do this right and using food should calm him a little beforehand. He gave Henry a few minutes to eat before speaking up.
