"Henry didn't know I was laughing at you," Hazel pointed out. "Don't be so paranoid. And I only did it because I thought you were being cute."
Will's eyes sparked with curiosity. "Really?"
"Yeah. You were talking to him like he could understand you and it was funny."
He moved closer and sat down cross-legged in front of Henry, who gave him a toothless grin and repeated his laughing and reaching routine. "Do you think I'm funny too?"
The baby continued reaching his way so Will held out a finger for him to hold. Henry grabbed it with enthusiasm and immediately tried to put it in his mouth. The brief look of disgust on her husband's face made Hazel laugh even harder than before.
Henry was delighted both by his new toy and his mother's laugh so he waved Will's finger around and giggled happily. It was so adorable that Hazel had to pull out her phone to get a video.
