Hazel thanked her husband again when she returned and found him admiring the partially completed painting.
"No problem," Will said casually. "It's coming along nicely. How long do you think you'll be out here?"
"I'm not sure. Possibly until lunch? I prefer using the real thing as a reference but I already took a picture in this lighting so I can finish it at home if necessary. Unfortunately, being out here for too long doesn't seem like it will work out."
She huffed in annoyance, wishing that Henry was born already. But that would cause a whole other set of changes to her usual routine. If she wanted to paint, she would have to do it when Will could watch the baby.
Hazel was worried about his ability to bond with Henry. Could she really trust her husband alone with an infant? She would never have another moment to herself if she couldn't though.
