Charlie was bored so he turned on the radio, curious about how much the music had changed in twenty years. Music had been one of the few things he actually enjoyed and at one time he had paltry dreams of making a career out of it.
Jean had shot him down real quick. She was always giving him crap about not having a real job or a college degree.
He didn't have to listen to her nagging now though. Some of the inmates talked about websites like YouTube where you could record yourself and become semi-famous. That sounded like fun if he could figure out how to work a computer. Apparently they had changed a lot.
Charlie would need to get his hands on a guitar once he took care of Billy's wife. He hadn't played in over twenty years and he missed it.
The music playing today was horrible though. Too much electronic nonsense infused through it and the lyrics were repetitive and boring. Eventually he found a classic rock station playing the good stuff like AC/DC and The Who.
