No one had paid attention to them at the beginning, It's not like it was happening they're our own country. This "epidemic" surfaced in a small suburban town in the UK, and as far as Joe was concerned, it was something he would never have to worry about.
Until now, when the "epidemic" finally reached the streets on New York
The streets were chaos, cars blocked the roads, some had been abandoned by their owners. People rushed away in almost any direction possible, some going into shops and houses. He could hear the sound of police sirens not far away. He could hear the shrieks and cries of children and adults, along panicked with the barking of some dogs. The "infected" ruthlessly attacking people, tearing chunks of flesh off, some being attacked by more than two of the dead who had risen from what we thought was a permanent slumber. He could hear the beating of helicopter blades in the distance. But despite all of this, Joe kept running. He ran for his life, pushing past crowds of people and jumping over cars.
Avoid the "Infected", they had been told in a government broadcast. They had explained the outbreak, a new Virus they called it "Homo Necrosis Zombifis". They had also explained the symptoms, but none of that helped now when the streets where chaos and people were dying. You didn't think, you ran for your life.
You acted upon survival instincts.
However, New York wasn't the only place being affected. This Virus spread quickly, and the "Infected" who had not yet shown symptoms or signs of this virus only sped up the spreading process they fled to other parts of the country and the world. And soon, this virus was worldwide.
No one was safe anymore.
