The Governor now places all his focus on Sheri as he reads the next cue card.
"Our final award for the night goes to Principal Sheri Lee Woods."
The spotlight shines on Sheri. The blue light cast an alluring hue on her. She smiled sweetly at Mark as he read to her.
Mark was worried he would have difficulty reading her part due to the way Sheri has put him off his balance and composure. But as he read her accomplishments and words from staff and students, he felt the genuine emotions of them.
He watched as a single tear fall from her eye as he read the heartfelt messages.
Jill rubbed Sheri's back at all the parts that were really heartfelt. She was so proud of her friend and the difference she was making in the community.
Jill couldn't help but think of the impact Sheri has had on the life of her daughter Julisa and herself.
Sheri was the one who encouraged her to become a Defence Attorney when everyone else was saying "You should avoid that field of the practice, it can get dirty." Sheri continued to remind her why she was choosing that path.
Sheri is literally like a second mom to Julisa. The times when Jill couldn't reach her daughter no matter what she said or did, Sheri always could.
Sheri had a strong conviction to help others to excel for the future. But not just to excel for the future, but to see it. When others couldn't see it or no one else could convince them of their potential, Sheri always knew what to say or do.
The impact she has on others and their success is so evident. But you can see it within herself as well.
You see, Sheri had a knack for knowledge. So much so that she graduated high school at the age of fifteen. She also got her bachelor's and a doctorate degree within six years after that.
Sheri's family gave her a hard time about being a teacher, they wanted her to be a doctor or a scientist. They felt that she accomplished so much at the age of 21 just to simply be a teacher. But Sheri knew her calling was with the youth.
She was a English teacher for four years teaching Grade level 11. Each year over 90% of all her juniors test score doubled, it even trickled over to their other classes.
Sheri knew that reading is knowledge to the wealth of the world. She instilled this mindset into the hearts of the kids she taught. She even invented a program that skyrocketed the proficiency of those who struggled with reading. But because the technology she used to make her program was owned by another company, she only gets a sniping of $8k a month even though the program is used by all the middle and high schools in the county, and makes almost a million dollars a year.
The company is also getting ready to introduce this program to other counties, cities, and States across the country. As her lawyer, Jill made sure the contract gave her another $8k a month every time the program made it to another school district.
So yeah, Sheri's on her way to becoming a millionaire in the future. So she really didn't need to be a doctor, lawyer, or scientist. Though if she did, we could be sure her genius mind would have figured out how to become a millionaire anyways.
Jill's the street smarts to Sheri's genius and Sheri's the genius to Jill's street smarts. They were a dangerous combo.

Mark finished reading the cue card, and was more impressed with the woman before him.
"Principal Sheri Lee Woods, it is a great honor to present you with this award. Please make your way to the stage to accept."
Jill and Sheri hugged.
Sheri gracefully made her was to the stage.
She looked more like a beauty pageant contestant than a principal, as the blue light shined on her.
Sheri is noticeably young and everyone kept whispering to each other, inquiring her age.
Sheris soft angelic smile enchanted the crowd as she waved to those who greeted her with a congrats.
As Sheri got closer she only kept her eyes on Mark. Smoldering him with her allure.
They shook hands and posed for the camera. He held the small of her back as they posed with her trophy. Sheri then made her way off the stage leaving Mark aching for more of her touch.
On the other side of the stage, Jill was there waiting to take her friend's picture.
When Sheri finally came down they hugged and Jill snapped a couple of pics.
"Isa!... Isa!"
Jill didn't answer. She had forgotten about her alias. She felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around to see Anthony Lawson smiling down on her.
"Hey Isa, I was trying to get your attention. It must have been too loud." Anthony chuckled. "Anyways let me help you and your friend get a couple of pics together."
