I did not laugh as hard as I just did for a very long time... ... meanwhile Esha and Michelle had puzzle look on their faces that I felt like laughing even more looking at them.... I just couldn't hold it back... I laughed till my stomach hurts and my tears rolled down my cheeks.
" Did I just say something funny??? " Michelle ask Esha...
" I didn't find anything so funny... but look at her laughing like exposed to a laughing gas and its hilarious haha... " She replied.
" By the way, we were planning to get ice cream someday soon, what if we all go today?? " Michelle asked...
" Today??? nah, you girls go ahead I have a dentist appointment today, can't skip... " Esha said, pointing at her tooth.
" Ah, you done laughing? " Michelle ask me next..
*pant, pant!! Cough*
" Yes,... I think so.. haha.. ahem! " I replied.
" Lets go grab a bite today then,?? "Michelle ask.
" Ok, sure.. " I agreed.
" Thats a date, then... see you after your class " Michelle said as she walked off...
" Ahem, sure " I said...
Did she just say date??? Really?? I had a tough time all these past days thinking that she have a boyfriend... and now I am going out with her!!!
I must be stupid, maybe I should reject the idea, tell her that I got assignments... before I come crashing down with depression again....
But, then my heart tells me, one time is fine... and so, my brain supported the idea: maybe if I get to know her I may start to behave normally with her like any other friends.
My heart then added, maybe I can make her fall in love with me.... oh, how wonderful it would be... me and Michelle holding hands together....
The rest of the day passed by with thoughts of Michelle and me, instead of my career... sigh!
When I saw Michelle standing beside the college gate...
"Hey!!, sorry I am late, the professor took extra time. " I apologized.
" Its fine, lets go then? what do you have in mind? Its my treat " Michelle said.
" Your treat? ok lets try dumplings first " I suggested.
" Oh, ok. I know a nice place, lets go there. " Michelle started to lead the way...
" Ok, sure" I followed behind her. I didn't know where I was even going... I just kept following her.
We got up in the bus.
" Its not far dont worry I will make sure you reach home before it gets dark. " Michelle reassured me after sitting down next to me..
" Its... it is..... fine. " I stammered.
My mind was listless as I could feel Michelle 's warm body beside mine. Once a while when the bus would jerk, I could feel her exposed soft arm against mine...and my body would feel like a current passed by.
" By the way, this new looks of yours looks great on you. " Michelle commented.
" Oh, ah... eh....Thank you, even Esha was saying the same thing. " I replied,as I played with my hair.
' What the hell?? why did I even have to bring Esha in the conversation!!! I am so stupid.' I thought.
She looks better even at such a close range, her skin looks so smooth, her lashes long and nicely curled upward. and her eyes sparkle, I just want to feel her smooth, skin.. .. I thought.
*Screech *
" Come lets get down, its our stop. " Michelle said grabbing my hands.
