Lion found that fox finished her work before everyone and reached home timely. He concluded fox was not performing well. Soon he found many lacunas in the work of a fox.
He called a review meeting to analyse the efficiency of the fox. A mail was dropped immediately to the fox. She was called to the head office to present all of her efforts through a power point presentation.
Fox did presentation confidently. Lion tried hard to find loopholes in her work, did deep scrutiny of her work but find nothing. He had to consider that the fox was performing well but he was not satisfied.
Boss was unhappy. He still thought that Fox was more efficient but she had given less work. She had paid more for less work. So once again the lion called a review meeting. This time wolf, hyena and jackal were also called. These were the teammates of the fox.
It was analyzed. jackal didn't give the 100% output but he worked for the entire day so he was appreciated and motivated for doing better. Wolf had many apologies for not doing up to the mark performance. Boss was not happy, so some new assignment was given to him. The hyena was overpowering and satirical by nature. he had some political connections. Even the lion was scared of him. So he was reviewed with few questions, which hyena ignored laughingly and his review was over. Then, it was the turn of review of fox again. Lion didn't see any file any presentation, just add new non-performing territories to her.
Now the boss was happy. he made fox busy. But the fox was known for her smartness. She adjusted these territories nicely in her schedule. She finished her work timely as she did previously.
The lion was unhappy but he knew to review fox again was not very beneficial. So first, he gave advice then he ordered to fox to meet 10 clients daily. Lion took regular follow for this. He was disappointed because of fox performance. She was still performing. He added some more responsibilities to the fox. Finally, Fox began to become overburdened. She started to forget, sometimes she became late.
Once again review meeting was called. This time boss found many loopholes in fox work. He warned fox to improve her performance and to leave casual attitude.
Fox was overburdened and she continued to do mistakes. One day boss shook the hand with fox and shown the fox the way to outside the jungle.
Still, the jackal was struggling to perform, still, the wolf had many apologies for performance and who dared to object hyena. Boss was satisfied except a problem, the team was not performing. For this, he needed a fox.
MORAL OF THE STORY: You can be a good performer but it is more important to show yourself busy all the time.
