(Note: Kodoku=Lone in Japanese-Gadis= Girl in Malay)
"How'd I get in this situation?" I thought to my self. My mom managed to convince me to go and at least meet the man and his fiance. "I hope he's cute."
Over the radio, I heard something I didn't want to.
"OUR NEXT STOP IS KODOKU GADIS EAST BUS STOP, I REPEAT OUR NEXT STOP IS KODOKU GADIS EAST BUS STOP"
Heart sank thinking about how unprepared I was to meet the man I would live the rest of my life with. Then another announcement sent a chill up my spine.
"WE HAVE MADE IT TO KODOKU GADIS EAST BUS STOP. I REPEAT WE HAVE MADE IT TO THE KODOKU GADIS EAST BUS STOP"
I got off the bus on to the sidewalk where I took a break to punch the address into my GPS. I walked about halfway when I saw a girl with brown hair and creamy tan skin reading a book on a bench. She took a glance at me and got up then to start walking towards me. When she reached me she said in a voice sweet enough to make anyone swoon, "Hi..um are you Dana Katana?"
When those words left her mouth my heart skipped a beat making me blush. I gained my composure just in time to respond "Yes I am. Who might you be?" Then she spoke in her beautiful tone once more.
"I am Sage Lamia, the first fiancee of Reymin George the 4th. I am marrying this man out of an arranged marriage. I'm guessing that you are marrying him from the arranged marriage too?" Once again I answered, "I am, but how do you know so much about me?" She responded " I've been calling and talking about you to your Mother since I found out that my future husband was going to have another wife that wasn't just me. I was sent here to walk with you to the Reymin Mansion. So if you don't mind..."
Sage reluctantly grab my hand and our fingers interlocked, she blushed making her face bright red.
Sage wore an oversized sweater a long skirt that stopped right above her ankles showing her brown lace-up boots. She also wore an opened trench coat, a striped scarf with a bag slung over her chest. That of which I found odd because it was a little after the middle of summer.
This day I wore a loose-fitting dress that stopped above my knees, a black purse slung over my shoulder, white sandals, and my hair in a ponytail.
We walked for a while when I got a closer look at Sage's face that of which was glazed with beauty. She had her overgrown bangs almost completely covering her pastel green eyes, a round face, a small nose, and perfectly sized lips for her face.
Then Sage spoke again "We're here." I was to busy admiring my future sister-wife I forgot to prepare myself to meet my fiance.
