It took me an hour or so to finally open my eyes. I felt the dizziness crawling up my head as the blinding light shone above me. I no longer felt the dampness of the rain on my body. Somebody had changed my clothes.
At first, my mind still remained empty. But slowly, his gentle smile appeared in my head. His presence filled my mind again. I grew anxious as I bolted through the door despite how weak my body was. I persistently dragged my feet towards where he was.
Around the corner, I saw Hiroto-oniisan walked out with Chun Yi. They were both surprised to see me running.
Chun Yi was the first to catch me. "Li Fei, what are you doing? You're still pale!"
"Where's your shoes?" Hiroto-oniisan sounded worried.
But, my bare feet were the least of my worries. I grabbed Hiroto-oniisan's sweater and yanked him towards me.
"How is he?" I asked.
He pursed his lips. I noticed the light in his eyes slightly dimmed. My heart immediately pounded.
