Once the racers entered the mountain trail, the three cars behind were slowly catching up to the two cars ahead.
Having zero f*** at the moment, I didn't bother to slow down at all albeit the complex track. Without any hint of emotion on my face, I raced like the wind.
Even at the next hair pin, I had only slightly braked, before changing the gears and stepped on the accelerator again. The beautiful drift was still unleashed at the narrow curve under my control.
However unbeknownst to myself, the high speed and consecutive successful drifts had slowly lit up a small scorching fire which grew little by little, climbing up to my core with all its might.
The race and the sound of the wheels grazing the asphalt had gradually sent wave upon wave of thrill towards my heart. It was beginning to tremble at its last defense. Thus, sending a tingling feeling throughout my body.
I hadn't realized the changes yet but I did knew, a thought had subconsciously formed inside my head.
