"Where to, Miss?" asked the cab driver as he turned around to face me.
I was a bit breathless because of the running. From the music shop to the mall entrance, it was quite a distant. In addition, I had just got discharged from the hospital. My body was still in a recovery state. Hence, I could barely muster a voice while trying to catch my breath at the same time.
However, the crucial thing in the moment was, where should I go?
My head was beginning to hurt from the accumulated exhaustion on my body. I guessed I had quite an eventful day for my first day of discharge.
Drowsiness had slowly started to hit me as well. My eyelids were drooping every now and then. Right now, I just wanted to lie down. So, currently, I didn't mind where, I just wanted to go.
I was about to tell him the address for the Huang family's house when out of reflex, I spelled, "City View Apartment" instead.
"Right away, Miss," the driver said.
