The woman breathed out a sigh of distress before she turned to the little boy resting on her lap. She smiled when she saw how the boy's grey eyes gleamed with intellegence. He had indeed been paying attention to the woman's every word.
Her beautiful dainty hands brushed his hair affectionately. "My dear, I have to tell you this truth because your father spoils you too much. He thinks that his protection is enough for you so you don't need to do anything else but live well and have fun."
She chuckled. As she tapped on his little nose, the little boy giggled merrily. "He adores you, even more than me."
