Chapter 5 - Spirit World

Spirit Based:

Cultivation based on the idea of spirits and embodiment of the idea that they can represent. This can be many things from the simple idea of heat which would be a distortions in the air and great control over fire, all the way to the spirit of a black hole that pulls things in and destroys them.

Examples:

Specializations:

• Beast(Animal Cultivator): Those whose spirits take the form of a Beast for example a bear in the earth element take some embodiment of that spirit to do thier battles. This person might use the fur of his earthern bear to protect himself or the one directional burst of speed that bears are known to utilize. This animal can be strengthened by killing and harvest the spirit of Beast of the same element and elemetal affinity. This meaning that unless some form of hybrid is chosen if you are not careful with chosing your spirit you will run into a dead end in your cultivation. An animal spirit can be obtained by finding the core of a Beast and fully saturating it with your energy before absorbing it. However, the more powerful the animal the more will that remains in the core. This can lead to a rrjected spirit in that it can an will destroy your path of cultivation. Beast with multiple bloodlines can be evolved by using core of beast with more and more pure bloodlines upon each major realm break through.

• Weapon: This is a specialization to be used solely for war and battle. If one choses a weapon as the embodiment of thier spirit they walk a path of violence and death. They weld their spirit in hand and use it to personally do their fighting, up close and personal. This path is started by using your energy to completely saturate a weapon made with materials aligned to their affinity. The more powerful the weapon in the start however the more likely the conversation from weapon to spirit weapon is likely to fail. This path is strengthened by absoring more and more powerful materials on each major realm break through.

• Idea: The final form that a spirit can take is the idea that it resides with. This means the most literally definition of what the spirit is. An example would be a whirlpool. This would some measure of control over water but only in the form of said whirlpool. This would give the ability to direct water into fast and dangerous whirlpools that can do everything from redirecting an attack if the person is powerful enough all the way to the whirlpool directly ripping someone apart. This is one of the hardest spiruts to obtain simply because while each unique event an phenomenon has a chance to produce a related essence the chance are relatively miniscule. With even something as common as a tornado only produced an aligned essence one perhaps every ten million occurences. This path is strengthened by aborbing purer sources of essence upon major realm break through. It also can gain strength by futhering your understanding of the phenomenon that caused it. Meaning the more complex the idea behind the phenomenon the more powerful the spirit even within the same realm.

• Example

• Earthquake: An earthquake would make you able to employ earth shaking attacks that would viciously shake and even shatter the bones of a weaker opponent.

• Blackhole: This would grant its user some utility and attack power. It has the properties of a black hole in that it is impossible to escape without sufficient power and can be used for teleportation. It however is almost impossible to obtain simply on the basis that it requires Black Void Essence.

• Element: While similar to other spirits this speciliazion is unique in its versatility and the complexity involved in mastering it. The element vary in uses and are an ever evolving list of things that are added.
