In the fight versus Whole Horse, polnaref was almost shot twice but saved by avdol. When avdol saves polnaref he runs and tackles polnaref but he could have done two other things. Number one was using his stand magicians red to attack whole horse and if he hit him hard enough to knock him out or burn him to where he un summons his stand and since that stand is not like Mista's stand and it does not have separate bullets the bullet would also disappear. Number two he could just use magicians red to push polnaref out of the way and no one gets hurt. Polnaref also was not completely helpless he had several options he could have used one of his ability which was to shed its armor and gain speed and dodge the bullet and just stab whole horse. He could also just move out of the way.
