Morning of the meeting.
The scene at Jinjing's was completely opposite. She was nervously sitting on the chair, still in her bathrobe, clutching on to her hair. She was so anxious that, she had not eaten her breakfast, moreover, she threw up whatever little she had eaten last night.
The bell to her apartment sounded, which broke her anxious spell. She rushed to the door to find Luwei and Sam standing all ready. Looking at her lost expression, Sam lead her into her condo by her shoulders.
"it's going to be okay Jinnie…. Luwei will be there with you…. Don't worry." Seeing her pale face, Luwei heated some milk for her to drink. "dint have breakfast…. Right??" Luwei gave her an all knowing look. Jinjing could only nod at her friend's warm gesture, taking the glass from his hand, she sipped on the milk.
Luwei sat down on Jinjing's other side and pulled her into a side hug calming her senses. Samantha continued patting Jinjing's back. The feeling of security and reassurance worked like magic on her and in no time Jinjing headed to her room and got ready for the fateful meeting.

Twenty minutes later.
The Jinjing that stepped out of the room, was a polar opposite to the messy, disoriented one that had entered it a few minutes ago. Sam and Luwei were captivated by the drastic transformation they witnessed.
Jinjing stood there oozing charm and confidence. She was stylishly dressed in a dark grey pencil skirt that ended at her knees and crisp white shirt blouse, which was tucked in. The sleeves were short and ended on her upper arm. As the weather was still hot, she left the top two buttons undone, which showed off her delicate collar bones. Tying her long hair in a tidy bun, she was formally out for a kill.
"awesome…." complimented Sam. She stood up still gawking at Jinjing. "Jinnie you are going to slay him." Seeing how impressive her rack looked in that translucent shirt blouse, Sam wolf-whistled.
Jinjing was tall but had a petite body frame. Moreover, she was naturally blessed in abundance in the breast department, compared to the average female.
Looking at their exaggerated expressions, Jinjing shook her head and said "I don't intend to slay anyone…. And what's with all the hyperbolic expressions?? Don't I dress the same every freaking day??"
Honestly, Jinjing wanted to put up a strong show as she wanted Liang to feel that she was doing not just fine but rather well without him, which was absolutely false.
The trio left Jinjing's apartment and headed for office. Luwei dropped Sam home and kissed her goodbye and then accompanied Jinjing to the office.
The meeting was scheduled for ten and there were only fifteen minutes left. The subordinates prepared the conference room. Luwei and Jinjing were waiting in Luwei's office for the guests to arrive.
Five minutes before the meeting the secretary informed them that the guests had arrived and waiting in the conference room.
Luwei gazed at Jinjing and asked "ready?" Jinjing took a deep breath and said "absolutely"
The duo made their way to the conference room. the secretary walked ahead and opened the door for them to enter. Luwei entered first and waited for Jinjing to come in.
His gentlemanly gesture, enraged a certain someone, while another someone could not control her excitement. "Jinjing!!!!" screaming out her name she sprang up from her seat and ran towards Jinjing before pulling her into a bear hug.
