Geun and Theodore were headed to the Korean Demilitarized Zone, by the peach village to have a talk with one of the staffs of the north's supreme leader.
This was a meeting arranged by one of their political contacts in the north.
It was because Geun wanted to find out for certain if the orders were legitimate. Giving more power to one country against theirs was also a disadvantage to the south. It was a conversation that none of the political leaders wanted to discuss over the phone or via email. They were always concerned about the government's capacity to tap into their network.
Theodore was supposed to go alone in this meeting, but out of the blue, their contact insisted that Geun had to come along and that it was a must for the report to be more convincing.
