Ivy was alone in her room, thinking about what had happened in the garden. She recalled Joshua's soft caresses and warm kisses, and again, her heart flipped.
'I don't know if I'm doing the right thing. Just don't break my heart again, Joshua. Otherwise, I will never forgive you.' Shaking her head, she stopped thinking about it and picked up her phone.
A knock at the door broke the silence in the room and Aria peeked inside, a cheeky grin adorning her lovely face. Her eyes were sparkling and Ivy didn't have to think twice to know that she had found out what had transpired when she was at the hospital.
"Good evening, sister," Aria chirped as she almost skipped towards the bed. "How are you feeling now?"
Ivy looked at her suspiciously, wondering what had got her all excited and high. Rolling her eyes, she replied, "I am fine."
"A little birdy told me something happened while I was working," Aria started directly, not beating around the bush.
