Sensing Ivy's alienation, Joshua leaned closer to her. But she only moved away, showing him her stance clearly.
"Ivy, I..." Ivy raised her palm at him, forcing him to stop speaking.
"Why are you being this caring with me?" Ivy didn't beat around the bush and asked him directly, rendering him speechless.
For a moment, Joshua didn't know what to say and kept gawking at him stupidly.
"Didn't you break up with me? Why are you still here?" Ivy disregarded his absent-mindedness and fired at him. Since he was done with her, what right did he have to behave as if everything was fine between them?
"Ivy..." Joshua didn't know how to reply to her. He was ashamed of himself and wanted nothing more than to slap himself for what he had done. Breaking up with Ivy was the worst decision of his life and he regretted it even now.
