"Any updates from Deputy or Ethan?" Aria turned to Noah who had been oddly silent since they had woken up. He hadn't spoken much to her, making her all the more tense.
"No. But I guess no news is good news," Noah replied curtly.
Aria nodded and returned to the kitchen once she was done having her breakfast.
Joshua had yet to wake up and Ian had returned only some time ago after finishing his night shift. And her father was exercising. So, it was just her and Noah at the dining table.
"Let me check on Ivy. She must be awake by now." Aria patted her palms and picked up her phone.
Like every other time, Aria knocked at the door and entered the room. As expected, Ivy was wide awake and was staring at the ceiling.
"Good morning," Aria chirped, gaining her sister's attention to her.
Ivy blinked in greeting and smiled at her.
"How are you feeling today?"
Ivy nodded and Aria beamed at her.
"Do you want to get up?"
