Noah stared at Aria who was deep asleep for the first time in weeks. No nightmares haunted her, nor did she wake up crying or screaming or that was what he thought until he saw Aria flinch in her sleep. Immediately after, she started moving restlessly.
Noah didn't even think twice. Aria was having the nightmare again and his heart ached to see her suffer. How he wished to take her all agony away. He wanted her to be happy always. That was what she deserved, not nightmares and frights. She didn't deserve that.
"Don't..." Aria shook as she started crying and Noah realized it was time to wake her up.
"Aria!" He moved closer to her and held her in his arms. "Aria, sweetheart, please wake up."
"Ivy, please..." Aria cried as she continued to move her head.
"Aria, please wake up. It's me, Noah. Everything is fine. We are fine." Noah tried to wake her up and wiped her tears. "Ivy is fine. She is with us."
