"Doctor, how is she?" Aria bit her nervously and held her breath while waiting for the doctor to finish checking Ivy.
Even though she was a doctor, she didn't trust herself. It was as if all other doctors were better than her when it came to treating Ivy.
The doctor remained silent and wet through all the reports. He even checked Ivy's vitals thoroughly before looking at her thoughtfully.
Ivy, however, was awfully calm, unlike her sister. She even smiled faintly when she met the doctor's eyes.
"Ivy, can you try to speak again?" The doctor requested, his keen eyes observing her for any signs of discomfort on her face.
Ivy opened her mouth and started speaking. Yet, no voice left her lips. It was the same outcome as the first time she had tried to speak after gaining consciousness.
"What about your legs? Can you try moving your legs?" The doctor was as gentle as possible as he glanced at her legs.
