After the small hiccup, there were no other problems during her time of recovery, and Ivy slowly started to get better again. This time, she was motivated to get well soon and recover quickly. So, she didn't take any matter to heart and didn't take stress at all.
The others too spoke about good things with her and kept her happy, indirectly helping her to recover better. It was only when Joshua was around that Ivy ignored her surroundings. Nothing he said or did affected her anymore, and she didn't pay any heed to his words.
Joshua himself knew that he had become non-existent to Ivy. But he didn't give up and kept speaking about good things to her. Just like that, more than a month passed.
"How do you feel today, Ivy?" The doctor questioned, as he usually did, and Ivy managed a nod this time.
"Good. Your injuries are healing well, and I see that you're able to sit upright as well." The doctor gave a smile of approval and encouragement.
