Joshua seemed as if his soul had left his body. The truth was like a slap to his face and the print was evident. If he was broken before, he was now reduced to smithereens as he cried silently to himself. Not once did he move from his place and Ian and Noah felt miserable to see him this way. He was their friend and it distressed them to see him in agony.
But his actions had crossed all their limits as well. By hurting Ivy just to protect himself, he had shown how low he could fall and how inconsiderate he was of other's feelings. The lady had given him all and was even hoping to marry him. But he had kicked her feelings away and disregarded them as if it was some used foil paper.
Every time, they thought about Ivy and how she was fighting for her life inside the OT, they felt nothing but hatred and fury course through them. Joshua had fucked up big time and there was no room for apology or regret.
