"What the hell was that?" Noah asked, when all the commotion had died and he was left alone with Aria. His tone made her feel that she had done something wrong.
'Maybe, I angered him. Did I step over the line?'
"I am sorry. I know I am wrong. I shouldn't have behaved that way. This is your company and she is your employee. I had no right to interfere." Aria said, looking down at her feet.
"Hey. Hey. Hey. What are you talking about? You did nothing wrong. Sometimes it becomes necessary to show people their places. And who told you that you had no right to interfere. You can do anything you want. You are my girlfriend. That alone is enough." Noah said holding her hand. His touch calmed her down a bit.
