Noah entered his sister's room softly, careful so as to not make any noise and disturb her from her sleep. Rachel was deep in sleep and she did not even sense his presence even when he caressed her forehead and pushed back the strands of hair that had fallen over her face. She looked tense, he noticed. Though she was asleep, she was still frightened from what had happened to her.
Noah sighed lightly and sat beside her, his eyes losing their usual coldness as he stared at his dear sister. Though he had never been vocal about his emotions, he still cared a lot about his sister and how could he not when he had been with her since the time she had been born?
