after the grand invasion, dimension invasion so to speak, multiple soldiers from each section started to disguise themselves to blend in, although they don't know the language of the humans here, they still want to admire and inspect everything here, given the sandbox they've been given with, I could say they're all having fun, considering the war with the humans here of course... still, it's surprising that Yin finally completed the blueprints and the creation of the dimension portal.
"Captain Liliya! we have..."
"hmm? something wrong Gola?"
Gola's my assisting captain, he may be uptight and strict but he has a good heart, we scouted him from the undead jungle just shy west of our home and we found him eating at a dead corpse, quite gruesome but he said he won't eat us as long as we don't kill him, which made Mei think, what if she experiments on him to analyze his statistics and it was successful, although we can't revive the dead and it seems like Hirio Gola was born as a half breed of Corrupted and dragonoids.
"it seems like... no nevermind"
"you seem scared, something the matter?"
wearing a frightened face, he immediately apologized to me and ran away, was there something wrong?
I've been checking in on all the sections including Naoya's sections and everything seems fine, no discrepancy or anything and they all seem to be having fun...
Mei suddenly appeared to me and... she's making a weird face? that's new to me...
"Mei, something the matter?"
"ahh! Liliya! I was looking for y-... no never mind."
she immediately fled... was there something the matter? I asked Naoya about it and it seems he was also experiencing the same thing, is there something wrong?
"hmm... I'm not wearing Iris wrong... what about you Naoya?"
"I think your battle wear is irrelevant in the matter... although, I am curious as to why they're avoiding us"
"yeah... have you asked Ingrid about it?"
"no, how about you?"
"not me either... I haven't seen Arie too so I don't know..."
we head to the makeshift camp all of us made and we were welcomed with nervous and wry smiles... something really is off...
Naoya didn't care much but I am curious... everyone seems to be grouping at a certain place so I went to check but-
"Ahh! Liliya captain! why don't you have fun over where captain Naoya is?"
"you guys doing something illegal? gambling?"
"N-no! I mean... we're... setting up a surprise! yeah!"
well... I really have no reason to check, so I asked Mei in the area as to why... well I can't really expect a great answer from her considering the same thing happened
"Oh! Ingrid! I got something to ask you!"
"Captain Liliya, is there something the matter?"
I began to explain everything and Naoya joined in with us. he took a glance from behind me and-
"sorry but... I''m in the white here, I'm not with them on this"
"really... then thanks for your troubles"
... if he doesn't know then what could it be?"
"you should probably ask Arie, since she has intel on everybody here"
"oh yeah, but where is she? I haven't seen her"
"really? she should be in her post on the southern beach, if not then I don't know where she is... but I do have a theory..."
"ehh? lay it on me"
"you told me Mei also fled from you right? then there's a chance that she's with them on this... if my Sister isn't in her post then I could certainly say that something's off..."
"yeah... I couldn't think of Arie ignoring orders or her schedule... well, again, thanks for your troubles"
we wave goodbye and Naoya followed me to the southern beach where Arie is supposed to be posted in, all we see was her army alone training, I began to interview everybody and asked about Arie but they also didn't know, someone said that she was with Mei while others said they didn't see her all day...
"now I really am curious... I know Arie just got her personality but I couldn't think of her deviating at something so tedious..."
"yeah... hey Naoya, why don't we investigate in the night, well just you since I can't go stealth with you"
"why don't you practice your Petal dance later too? try to envelop the whole island if you can"
and with that, I went along with the plan, lucky for us it was almost midnight, the place was as silent as the night and everyone should be in their cabins... should be.
"well... it's time to go with the plan" petal dance... my most used skill for support, well balanced for it's many uses and hard mastery. as soon as I got in the middle of the forest here, I started to envelop the area in beautiful white petals, like glittering in the sky, stars falling from the sky, I created the most beautiful scene I could make
"I haven't re;axed like this in... probably years"
the most I've relaxed was when Kirin was still alive... it's 200 years so I'm over it... although I do miss him...
these petals evolved when he died, my hard work for these petals have given us hope, and along with Naoya, I'll forever nurture these petals, my emotions are linked with the petals that generates, a tear will create a beautiful, glittering dance. and with a forceful tone, I can send all of these to the depths of the earth.
"Liliya, I think I know what they're hiding"
"ahh! Naoya you startled me... anyway what is it?"
"first off, who do you want to punish? the soldiers hiding it or the hiding child?"
"child? no-!"
no! it couldn't be!
we ran back to where Naoya found them, that child... could be-
"I believe that you're correct on who you're thinking of right now"
"Then why didn't you stopped them!?"
"Oh I did, that's the main reason as to why I asked you who to punish"
Oh I'll punish all of them
we arrived on where the soldiers, including Mei and Arie, were, all of them were incapacitated...
"don't look at me"
soon after, Ingrid carrying "the child" appeared
"looks like someone's in trouble, right? Little Lily"
"Osiria! is everything the okay? they didn't lock you did they?"
Osiria, my little adopted child, is here!?
"Captain Lilia, you're scaring little Lily"
"ahh! sorry... sorry.. Naoya, lock them up including Mei and Arie"
Naoya approved quite fast for his personality, I guess being a protective parent changes it.
"are you alright? you're not hurt are you?"
"no... I was given candy... but I was scared of being alone but aunt Arie was there with me..."
"thank goodness you're fine... why're you here?"
first off, Osiria is my little adopted child, she's about 20 years old (she's pure Corrupted so her age is similar to a 10-year-old, I should explain the age of them huh...) right now and I found her in a burning mansion as a slave, the first reaction I got from Naoya from rescuing her was "you look like a mother Liliya" and immediately adopted her as my own.
"I was following Aunt Theia then I got lost... I thought she was in the portal so I went there but... scary people were inside..."
"no no no, don't cry, here I'll carry you"
I exited the camp with Naoya and met Rin along the way
"What the goodness, what's Little Lily doing here?!"
"apparently she entered the portal because she was lost, can't believe my whole section wasn't reporting about this"
"well... if the mother somehow found her child in a camp of a military outfit then I can't really say that I could predict what you'll do, a mother changes when she's with her child or so what my mother always said when I was born here"
so that's a saying here in earth huh... I like it
"and... is... everything alright with Naoya? I'm scared, he looks like he's ready to kill..."
"a-ahh! Naoya calm down calm down, look! Osiria's fine!"
I dropped Osiria and soothed down Naoya, he really was aiming for the neck there...
"sorry... anyway, are you alright?"
"papa was making a scary face..."
"sorry... it's... just that I was angry... don't worry, I'm not angry at you"
"really?..."
Naoya began to escort Osiria and showed her the island.
"well... that was an event, how's little Lily?"
"Osiria's fine, I'm just afraid that she'll see something gruesome early... she's still a child"
"I can't say a 20-year-old is a child but, haha, really can't say that looking at her face"
"right! you were a human in the past right? then what's her age if compared to a human here?"
"hmm... I could say that she looks like a 10... maybe 9-year-old? yeah, probably around there"
"then we have a disguise for her when we ever visit the civilization here! isn't that great O- oh right hahaha..."
"Parents, I'll never understand them. if you're going to visit then why don't I come with you? probably great if you have a translator in an unknown world right?"
we concluded after a few minutes of discussion and tomorrow morning-
"I see we have some very dedicated soldiers here. don't you all even dare to ignore my punishment!"
Naoya's really angry... even the punishment's torturing them... I know I'm mad at them but I'm not THAT mad... he could've go on just a bit... just a bit more torturous then I would be fine with it
"ahh... Liliya, you're scaring Little Lily"
"ehh? ahh! sorry, why don't we have fun for a bit?"
I do wish for her to have never come here... as a parent, seeing a child in a military camp is frightening but there's also a side of me that's happy that she's here... well, this could only go forward and the portal's one way so I really don't have a choice.
"mama... you're smiling..."
"hehe... I guess I am"
