Kirin and co. finally arrived to their destination. prepared to fight, Kirin scouted ahead and called in Liliya and Naoya for backup
"Kirin! are you alright!?"
"yeah! I'm fine, still haven't used Hades' hand, Help me out here will you?!"
Liliya held the Jaded greatsword and Naoya created a scythe made out of blood and bones. with every slice, both of them killed all the enchanteds in the vicinity
"Haahhh... that was a work out, anyway, the crystals didn't work so I think it's safe to assume that it's a failure... but if I wasn't smart I'd throw them out immediately"
"How're you Naoya?"
"Fine, you"
"Great! well then, let's gather them for Mei"
"you two, I'll see to your weapons for a sec, do you guys mind?"
"ahh sure! we don't mind"
"well then... luckily I have my portable lab here... seems like you're taking well care of this sword huh? glad to see it in a healthy shape"
"Thanks! Mei has been looking in to my sword lately so I doubt it'd be damaged in a single fight"
"good, anyway, Naoya mind if you hold out your hand for a bit? of course with your scythe"
Naoya's a different case... the scythe with him is connected to his skeletal system, his race is corrupted with Bone and Blood mixtures so I need to look at his sword for any discrepancies... Blood clothing check... bone sharpness check... bone fractures... no fractures... finally, foreign mixture... none
"alright, you're all good, by the way, Liliya, why don't you use your wind arts?"
"oh, that? well really I only use it as a final attempt, Naoya said it's great to use it when I'm in a pinch since I look like a human from the outside"
"hmm... thanks for teaching her that then. anyway, we have a few more floors to venture so stay alert for now alright?"

Meanwhile, Mei has been massacring Enchanteds, Corrupteds monsters left and right... Fenrir is.
"Good boy! anyway do you need help? I could call Sekhmet to help you"
Fenrir wags his tail and barks with determination
"I... did not get that... but I feel like you want help so... huh? Sekhmet... okay then, what about Fenris?"
Fenrir began to whimper and lie in the bloody grass that it created
"oh, then it's fine. Fenris, I summon thee to help thy comrade"
Black mist began to envelop the area, revealing a tall, pale, slender woman with black markings in it's hands, feet and body
"as always... Fenrir, you still scared of her?"
a whimper could be heard and began to close it's eyes the moment Fenris looked at it
"hahhh... I don't know why but I might need to examine both of you, goes for you too sekhmet"
"Fenris, you up first"
-corrupted mixture... enchanted mixture... Dragon mixture... all seems fine, "paws, please fenris"... nothing wrong... markings still the same... "Fenris, why don't you tackle the Blood fairy over your left?"
as soon as the order was out, only an afterimage could be seen and Fenris was suddenly holding a Fairy in it's wings
"haha, as strong as always, now Sekhmet, I summon thee"
a long, slender panther out of purple Flame was summoned and began to purr around Mei
"oy! we're still in an examination, sit still...
Paws check... flame temperature... still as hot as always... try to hunt down any enchanted in the forest, let's see how you measure up"
It began to run towards the forest at full speed, it wasn't as fast as Fenris but it's still considerably fast for a normal human being. it uses its Flame burst as a way to accelerate faster than the speed of sound rather than Fenris simply using her own strength, Fenris is the strongest but it's still comparable to the rest, although I doubt it could even hold a candle to both Naoya and Liliya, their fight ended in a flash that even Fenris believed they were cheating
The panther finally came back with a giant adolescent rock Wyvern... Sekhmet might be slower than Fenris but he's definitely much stronger than her... if only Sekhmet was determined in every fight
and finally..."Fenrir... don't worry, I already examined you quite enough" Fenrir is a Pure Enchanted meaning that his power might be less compared to others but his brute strength and magic capabilities are much stronger than the rest, even Liliya couldn't follow it for 10 seconds, the only problem is that Fenrir is scared towards Fenris... if they could combine their strength then they could probably defeat even Naoya... I couldn't hope them to defeat Kirin in one second... even with the curse Kirin could easily manipulate everything into his command.
"alright, examination's done, all of you return to your place at once or feel free to roam the area for a minute... well, all of you can roam, I can just summon all of you when needed, just be careful not to get caught alright? except you Fenris, you'll be misunderstood more than anything so you're staying at my side"
"oh well... I could say this mission is a complete success, time to head back. wonder what Kirin thinks of my new creation? those Mana crystals might be defective too... well what's done is done. worst case I could just make working ones"
