"Fear?"
The cloaked figures looked at each other for a few moments. Then they burst out laughing.
"HAHAHAHA. If you're fear, then i'm death! Oh gosh. Even as a joke, that is still such a bad name!"
"If you want to call yourself Fear, at least try to look the part! Even a mice won't show Fear towards you looking like that!"
"I want to see if you can still call yourself Fear after I turn your head into a broom!"
Almost all the cloaked figures began saying all sorts of stuff to mock him. Almost all.
While the others were throwing all sorts of mockery, one of the cloaked figure was trembling. At some point, he suddenly fell down to his knees.
"Oh Great Lord of Fear! Please forgive my insolence on having invaded into your private life! Please, have mercy!"
One of the cloaked figure said with his head already touching the ground from bowing down. The other cloaked figures after hearing this, immediately became silent. They all thought to themselves 'What the heck was going on?'
Before they could begin to question their fellow, He who proclaimed to be named Fear answered the plea with "Very well. As someone who has recognised me and shown an adequate amount of fear, I shall allow you the painless death of dying in a nightmare"
"Thank you my—" before the fellow could finish his sentence, he fell unconscious.
It would've been simple if it was just that, but after he fell unconscious, his body began to squirm by itself. Not long after, centipede like bugs started digging its way out the body. While they did so, they also began to enlarge. The most noticeable difference between the bugs and a normal centipede other than the size that was had become larger than everyone present, would be the head. On the head of the bug, it had a mouth that was very eye-catching. And it was so not only because of the green-ish dripping blood and the dangling rotten limb, but also because of the series of small teeth and fangs that looks scary enough to make the horrible sight of the burning town look simply like a campfire.
After coming out, the bugs took position behind Fear. When the bugs showed their face towards the cloaked figures, one can notice that some have become paralyzed from fear after looking at them
The leader after seeing all this became quite grim. 'With simply a sentence, without a single move, he managed to kill one of my men? This person... is dangerous...' he started to contemplate on what should he do.
2 of his men though, had different thoughts.
Seeing how easy it was for them to be killed, they didn't even hesitate to turn around and run.
But they didn't went far before suddenly, their body got diced into pieces. Their head however, was intact. And so was their consciousness.
"GYAAAAAA IT HURTS IT HURTS IT HUURRRTSS!!!! AAAAAAAARRGH!"
"@£*# @£@) ARGH IT HURTS!"
As they scream and curse in pain, the bugs began to move and started eating the other parts of the diced body.
By the time all the diced body had been eaten up, all the cloaked figures had instinctively huddled up together. Who knows if it was either battle instinct, or instict of the fearful. Two of the bugs were now just slightly chewing the remaining heads of the diced up figures as if they were candy. As their heads were chewed, the kept on screaming.
Only then did the leader realized "A domain ability user?"
"Something like that" Fear answered.
With a snap of his fingers, everything seemed to turn white. It was as if all the colors of the world had been taken leaving only white to be seen. But not only so, but it was also very white.
"As I see it, you have trained your men well. They do not fear even death that has come knocking for a while now." As he said that, he looked towards all of the cloaked figures. "Do you think they would still feel the same if their most dearest person took their place?"
As if to help answer his question, people started appearing one by one, unconscious and bounded by the bugs.
When these people appear all of the faces of the cloaked figures had become pale.
Fear then explained to the leader "I am Fear. I am alive to deliver fear. Welcome to my mini world of fear, where your sole purpose here is nothing else other than to experience fear."
