The girl ran off, but the grand duke sent the guards out to find her, but coming back with no news. So I declared, that whoever fits this slipper, will be the one who I will take hand in marriage. And the message was sent to every maiden in the kingdom. The grand duke going to every house, getting women to try on the slipper. But not one girls foot fit the slipper. One house left, was Lady Tremaine's house, with the two ugly daughters, the grand duke got them to try on the slipper, but the shoe did not fit. Well the grand duke didn't need to force them, because they were screaming and shoving each other out of the way. Both of them thinking that maybe the slipper will fit them, but their feet were too big. Who in this Kingdom could have a foot size that small, prince Charming thought. The Duke and his helper asked if anyone other maiden was in this very house, and with a straight face, containing a lie, Lady Tremaine lied and said there was no one else. But that secret was out soon enough, when the girl at the ball came rushing down the stairs, trying to catch the duke before he left. The Duke just gave Lady Tremaine a look of disbelief. His assistant rushed over to bring in the shoe, tripping over the evil step mothers cane, dropping the slipper, it shattering into pieces. Then all of a sudden the girl brought out the other slipper, the duke slipping it on to her foot, the glass slipper fitting perfectly. Soon the girl was at the castle with the prince. In his arms, about to ask for her name, as he knelt to the ground on his knee asking for her to be his princess. She saying her name was Cinderella. Together, Prince Charming and Princess Cinderella were living happily ever after, kissing in the back of the carriage.
