"You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching, Love like you'll never be hurt, Sing like there's nobody listening, And live like it's heaven on earth."~William W. Purkey
Wake up, shower, brush teeth, blow dry hair, get dressed, makeup, and now it's time to face the world. Go downstairs. Mère still asleep, however Père is getting his cafè and about to leave for work. A good day hug and kiss and he's off. I eat some food, pack my lunch, and get ready to leave. Coat, boots, and Gryffindor scarf and I'm ready to go. It starts raining on my way out the door, so I grab my umbrella.
I spend ten minutes walking to my bus stop with my frère cadet (younger brother). I wait barely ten minutes till the bus arrives, then its there. Wait for the smaller children to get off, and I'm on. A greeting to the driver, and I'm soon to my seat in the near back.
It was to my astonishment that Vœux climbs aboard also (he normally drives). Then I notice his arm in a sling, no wonder he isn't driving. He goes to his seat at the second to back, two behind me.
We finally get to the school, and get off. It's raining enough to soak a person, so I go to open my umbrella. But then something horrible and amazing happened, my umbrella broke. I just stare at it, trying not to cry, because is was the last thing that my grand frère (older brother) gave me before he left for the navy. I can feel the rain hitting me but I don't care.
It was then that a shadow fell over me, and I looked up to see Vœux holding his umbrella over me. "No worries, We can share" he told me smiling that wonderful smiling. I whispered a merci and tried not blush while walking to the doors of the school. Once inside, he smiles at me and turns to go on his way.
