Next day, when Tristan woke up he saw there were some message from Heavy Matter. Tristan rang him up.
"What happened?" Tristan asked.
"Have you seen the rumors flying around saying you are actually Loon?" Heavy Matter laughed.
"Loon? Who is Loon?" Tristan asked.
"Haven't you heard? The Singularity Mammoth has disappeared. A tablet is lying in its place signed Loon. It is believed he was able to take the carcass away. Currently that world fragment is slowly collapsing without the mammoth left to support it."
"What? The Mammoth was stolen?" Tristan was stunned. He had already considered the mammoth his and was planning to absorb it in the future when he reached the level. Someone already stole it? The heck?
"Who is Loon?" He asked.
"You don't know him? He made a deal with you in the auction, for a tomato. He looked like an ordinary young man under a mask." Heavy Matter said.
"Him...?" Indeed, Tristan was surprised how he had known the information from the seventh civilization and given it to him for so cheap, one fruit. Could the fruit have been related to him taking the mammoth?
"Yes, him. Because of that incident, people are thinking you actually faked that and were actually the auctioneer yourself." Heavy Matter said.
"Uhh.. Well I don't care as long as this Loon doesn't have any enemies who come for me instead." Tristan said. "As for the mammoth, I guess that was his fate."
Heavy Matter spoke again. "You bought a chance on the Pressure Stairway, you don't wish to use it? It is a good place to temper your body and mind."
"I am not sure what its effects are, care to explain?" Tristan said.
"The pressure stairway is like the name says. It exerts pressure. Not just physical pressure, but also mental pressure. The pressure increases the higher you go. It is an ancient object found by the founder of the Vast Expanse, no one has gone to the top before." Heavy Matter said.
Tristan thought about it. May be he could use the pressure to compress his Aura. And he had been looking for a way to increase his mental energy anyway.
"I'll use it this weekend if it is possible." Tristan said.
"No problem." Heavy Matter said. "But make full use of it, it takes an incredible amount of energy stones to power this object. Around thousand pure energy stones and can only be used by one person."
After the call, Tristan went to class in the special community. The rabbit woman, Neffy had come to the class as the class was settling down. When she saw Tristan lazily enter, she ignored him.
"Today's class is about terrain mapping. How to understand where you are, finding directions, understanding the cardinal directions rules for different worlds....."
Tristan thought her way of teaching was quite boring, but the topic was useful to him. He would frequently end up in foreign worlds, clueless about directions. Now he had [Neptune's Navigator] and it would simply point to whatever he wanted.
Then something suddenly struck him. He took out the magical compass in class. Emily looked at him amd saw that even the Teacher Neffy had noticed him and was about to explode with anger, when she saw Tristan's face was actually really serious, as if his eyes were going to explode.
Tristan had taken the [Neptune's Navigator] and within his mind, asked there question. Where is Destiny?
The Compass suddenly rotated rapidly about its axis before Tristan suddenly felt a huge backlash in his body and coughed out a lot of blood. He almost blacked out, but managed to stay awake by biting his tongue. Slowly his body began healing and he coughed out some more blood as a result. The class floor was littered with heavy red blood.
Tristan simply walked off the class, holding his mouth and apologizing. Everyone was stunned for a minute, before the teacher called off the class and ran to find Tristan. Emily and Arthur followed. Tristan walked towards a park amd sat down. The compass, he wasn't sure if he could trust it's judgement.
When he tried to find Destiny, the compass obviously failed. But he felt like a powerful gaze looked at him from somewhere. It was extremely malevolent and wanted to squish him immediately, however, the malevolent gaze was covered by a mist amd Tristan immediately was relieved, but he still suffered a backlash from the gaze and heavily injured.
Even while healing, the sequelae still continued to burst, but with a lower intensity. His skin was cracking and blood was oozing from his eyes and ears. However, the Self healing was working over time.
Tristan quickly took out a huge piece of cured meat in his storage and began chomping it down. The scene was straight out a horror show.
Neffy, Emily amd Arthur saw Tristan constantly having wounds form on the body amd be healed, blood oozing from eyes and ears and at the same time, he was desperately eating meat. Emily looked at Arthur and told him to get as much meat as possible.
At that moment Aesop arrived and he saw Tristan bleeding from every orifice. He sighed. Just now he had felt a malevolent gaze from a being that even gave him some fear. He hurriedly shielded the human world from the gaze.
"Every day is an event with you." Aesop commented as he took out a pill. Tristan shook his head, pills are useless on me, I'm healing using my innate talent, just need food.
"Pills are useless?" Aesop asked, puzzled. Tristan sighed and took the pill and put it in his mouth, but the pill immediately burned and dissipated.
"Heavenly Bindings...!" Aesop raised an eye. He then raised his hand and tried an extremely powerful healing spell. The spell hit Tristan and was simply bounced off.
Neffy was confused and frightened. "What is happening teacher?"
Tristan shook his head. "I told you, this wom't work. Just give me food, I will heal on my own. The sequelae are slowing down."
Soon food arrived with Arthur, and Tristan swallowed steaks and other meat items like a monster. His body was also showing signs of healing and eventually with a final cough of blood, Tristan had completely healed.
Aesop looked at the sky. Tristan asked him a question. "Did you stop that gaze?"
Aesop nodded, then asked. "How did you even attract that... thing's malevolent interest?"
Tristan scratched his head. "I tried finding out who my lover in the future would be?"
Aesop shook his head. He understood that every person had their own secrets. This boy had way too many secrets on him though, which worried him.
