I feel as if I can't breathe. All we can do is watch as she disappears into the elevator. Anger simmers inside me at the thought of what she's going to do. I can feel Zane's angry glare from beside me. Not knowing what to do, I turn around and walk away. However, before I do, Zane grips my elbow and grits out. "This is all your fault. You know that, right?" I pretend to misunderstand him. "I don't know what you're talking about."
