Chapter 3 - Fifth

It's okay but not completely okay. It seems like everything is still a bit complicated, especially since many things had just happened.

Nat has actually been Creepy for a few days now. Thanie feels that Nat is following her everywhere she goes. At least Bry would have changed of what they had now, he had been clingier in past few days. But every time they were alone, Thanie would sometimes notice Bry that he was out of his mind.

Sometimes she also caught up him that he has been with Nat after their done in class. She didn't want to doubt Bry because she trusted him. That's what they were supposed to do, to trust one another. But she couldn't really avoid being jealous and being hurt by what she saw.

She also heard gossips from her classmates and schoolmates like Bry and Nathalie came home with only one condo. She wanted to ask Bry. She had a gut feeling that they're still in their midst, that they still had feelings each other.

"Bry, I just have a question for you?"

They are in Bry's condo right now. They had 8 months together, so they decided to just celebrate there.

They were on Couch while watching Netflix. Bry was lying down, his head resting on Thanie's lap. Thanie plays Bry's hair while Bry watching Netflix seriously.

"What's that?" he asked.

She looked at him seriously. She noticed Bry was nervous as his eyes twinkled like he had hiding some secret.

"Has Nat interacted with you? I mean, I trust you, but I can't help but doubt. I also hear some gossips spread."

Her words were cut off when Bry pressed her finger on her lips.

"Shhh, what they're saying isn't true. Those are just gossip and it's not true that me and Nat are still together. Remember You are my girlfriend,"

"But they said she was with you every night and you were in the same condo. What the heck, Bry?"

She got up in bed and looked at him seriously.

"Yeah, I was with her last night and we were in the same condo but we weren't in the same room. I was on the 3rd floor while she was on the 2nd floor, okay?" He held her hands tightly.

"So, don't worry, I'm not going to make a fuss about anything that will hurt you." He added.

"I'm sorry I just can't help but to ask because some days we always got busy and hanging out some often. But you know, she's your ex howsoever, she had been part of your life too- "

He cut her off when he kissed her on her lips, but not really a kiss, just a smack.

"Just Trust me, don't give up on me."

Her forehead twitched when she said that. All he had in mind was that he might abandon her, and he planned to leave her.

"Why would I give up on you if you're the one whom I dream of, Apple? "

"Apple? Why apple?"

"Because You're the Apple of my eye," she smiled genuinely.

"Apple of your eye? What is that mean?" He is confused.

"Did you remember the girl who sang the apple of my eye? Who had a cute little voice which we always hear it every time?"

"Not really. Why?"

"Apple of my eye means you're the person I love,"

"So that's why you call me Apple? Is that our Cs (call sign)?"

"Maybe, if you agree with that?"

"Sounds nice. Not too common, yet not too simple."

They just laughed and then, they hugged together tightly.

Every month and every day, they always get on and on and on. There are times that they are misunderstood because of something that should have been a minor problem, which has grown bigger and One of their problem is Nat.

The ring belled in school after they've done it in their lesson. They went out one by one and left. They would have begun to walk when there's a hindrance in front of them.

"Bry, can I get along? Please?" She pleased.

They are doubting whether they will agree or not. It was Nat's turn. Nat dipped again. She was upset with Nat and so was Nat. Bry turned to Thanie if she would agree. Thanie raised her eyebrows at him but,

"oh Su- "

"Why?" Thanie groaned

However, Nat's eyebrows rose on Thanie.

"And Why not?"

"Why were you always so close to my boyfriend when you know that this guy already had a girlfriend?"

"Excuse me, you are Just his Girlfriend. Mind your own business,"

"No, I should be the one who said that. Mind your own Business, Nat. He is my boyfriend and I am his. You must not be with my boyfriend, I dare you! Nor even a little bit part of yours because he owns me and I own him. He's my Business, So Mind your business too."

"Oh right, he's your girlfriend but before he became your girlfriend, he was mine,"

"That's it, that's what you said He was yours. From the word WAS. W-A-S which means You are just his Past. so, get over it, Or I'll swear I'm gonna kill you."

"Is that a threat?"

"No, Just a pretty reminder."

"Oh, my dearest Best friend, remember you caught up with him after we broke up and of all people in this world, why you? My Best friend? No EX-BEST FRIEND? Did you ever think that he was just making you a past time? Or did you ever think he was just toying you?" she bluffed.

"Why did you leave for 5 months then? Didn't you feel sorry for leaving him as breezy as air?"

"Is that it? so you caught him?"

"I didn't catch him. I'd take care of him."

"Is that all you can answer? Do you think I really left him for 5 months without even a reason? And you don't have any proof of that,"

"That's really true, right?" Thanie faced him at beside of her.

"Do you really believe in him?" Nat pointed to Bry.

"Why not? I trust him so much,"

"Is that so?"

"Guys, stop it." Bry was behind at Thanie who tried to force her to pull away, to avoid trouble.

"No matter what word goes out there in your burning mouth. It will not change the fact that You left him And You left us without even a word," Thanie said.

She looked at Bry and said to let go of her arm as she passed them through.

"You don't know the truth, Mace. Bry doesn't really love you. Bry is mine and He always come after me because he doesn't really like you. He's just toying you. You are just his toy, in short You are just a Rebound,"

She looked up at her with a frown on her face, a horn on her head and her nose clenching. "What did you just say?"

"I said you just rebound!"

Slowly she approached her.

"You also don't know what happened to Bry the day you left him. And you didn't know how downcast he was! And you even called me Mace? Like duh, are we close?"

"Why? Mace is really your name, duh." Nat said as she crossed her arms and rolled her eyes.

Thanie quickly grabbed her left wrist. She clasped her wrist, twisted her backwards and pulling her hair until Nat was ouch.

"Don't you ever call me Mace again. I'm not your best friend anymore nor even a friend."
