Leo narrowed his eyes on the child. "Alright. Tell me something you remember but don't understand." Leo challenged him. He remembers everything he once heard right? If he's telling the truth, he can easily provide him an answer. He doubts it though.
Luke thought for a while and then glanced at his father. "Okay. You can help explain them to me too." he replied. "Mom said before....she didn't want to get married because many people will die if she did. What does that mean?"
Leo frowned. "She said that?" he uttered. Even he couldn't tell what those words meant. "What else?"
"Before Mama was taken to the hospital, she told me that she was a thief. She tried to stole two people from her sister and for that, she will be punished." the child said with his head lowered. "There are so many things I don't understand but that one.... I want to know what Mama meant because I want to know why she have to die."
Leo looked at the child's sad face and then sighed. That one, even if he does know what Jienna meant with those words, there's no way he could explain it to a small kid without having to hurt feelings. Someday... Maybe someday...

When Charmaine woke up the next morning, she found Leo and Luke cuddling next to her. She smiled and kissed the child's forehead before turning to Leo who was sleeping on her left. Somehow, waking up with the two of them beside her seemed surreal. It's both amazing and overwhelming.
"What are you thinking?" Leo asked with his eyes still close. He just woken up too when he felt Charmaine's small movements.
"I feel like I'm living a dream. That I don't deserve this kind of life. It's as if I barrowed it from someone else." she replied.
Leo tightened his hold on her waist. "This is your life. You're destined to have us. Even if you were given a dozen chance to reset your life, I will still be your husband and Luke will be your child." Leo stated.
Charmaine blinked her eyes twice. Is it true? Many things changed when her life had a reset, but it's true that Leo still became her husband. And no matter how hard she tried, Jienna still died, leaving Luke behind for her to raise.
"Do you want to stay with your mom while I'm not around? I'll take you to Chelsea before going to the airport later." he offered. "It might be better for your health to stay with your parents."
Charmaine chuckled. "You mean my mental health? Do you think your mother can drive me crazy?" she joked.
"No. But I don't trust Adele." he replied.
Yes. Adele had been behaving better lately, but with Leo's absence, who's to say she will stay nice to her? Leo still can't relax with that woman around.
"Nah.... I'll just stay here. I'm not alone in this house and we have excellent security system. I'll be alright." the woman replied.
Leo opened his eyes to look at the woman's face. He was about to say something to oppose her but he was suddenly distracted by a loud sound of a phone ringing. He glanced at the direction where the sound was coming from and saw his personal mobile phone flashing a bright light as it vibrated at the same time on the table behind him. Who could be calling him so early in the morning?
Charmaine watched as Leo stood up to take the call. She wondered who it was. It was a short call but looks important. "Who was it?" she asked at once after she saw him put the phone down.
Leo shrugged his shoulders. "The butler in the Ji mansion." he replied. "He was asking me if I'm ready to go back home. Guess you're destined to stay somewhere else while I'm gone."
Charmaine furrowed her brows. "What do you mean? You're sending me to the Ji Mansion?" she asked.
"I'm not forcing you to go. You can refuse of course, It's your choice. It's just that.... Grandpa is sick, so maybe you should visit him at least." Leo explained.
Charmaine was lying on her side, but when she heard Leo's news, she quickly got up and stared at him with eyes widened. "Grandpa? I thought he's on a trip?" she blurted.
"Well, obviously he's back." he replied. "The butler said he was already not feeling well when he left Singapore, but even after arriving Chelsea, he refused to get admitted to a hospital."
Charmaine's heart ached when she remembered the old man's face when he died in her dreams. She wondered how he is. She hoped he's not seriously ill. She had already witnessed him pass away once. She didn't want to see it again so soon!

Jun Ji sat silently on the bed with his back resting on a big pillow. He has been awake for a while now, but he hasn't sensed anyone else in the room. The silence was deafening. No one was holding his hand when he woke up, no one asked him if he's alright. Nobody asked him if he needs anything. That distinct voice, that familiar scent, they were no where to be found. It looks like Bianca already left. She might not come back again.
Jun Ji sighed. Isn't that good? Bianca can live her life peacefully now. She didn't have to worry about a big burden like him. She can go on with her life and happily pursue her dreams without anyone holding her back. Who is he anyway? Just a useless man who had lost everything in life. He even wondered why he's still alive and breathing. What good is it to live a life like this? It would be better if he died.
"Good morning!" Jun Ji suddenly heard the doctor's voice. "How are you today?"
Jun Ji didn't answer him. His mind was elsewhere. He allowed Liam to talk random things without paying attention to his words. In the end, Jun Ji could not resist and just went ask. "How was that woman?" he asked coldly.
Liam raised his brows. "Do you mean Bianca? Well...." he stopped and thought for a while. Jun sensed the doctor was hesitating to answer and felt he was keeping something from him. He became more curious because of it.
"Is she ill?" he asked.
"She's not but....." Liam paused. Should he tell him? "Laura told me to keep this from you but.... I think you should know."
"What is it?" he asked impatiently.
Silence. Liam took a deep breath before breaking the news. "Bianca won't be coming here for a while. She needs a lot of rest as she is having a high risk pregnancy."
Jun Ji was stunned. Bianca... is pregnant?
