"Volt, do you love your wife?" Leo asked.
Voltaire Klein: Leo Ji's assistant turned to his boss with a bewildered look. Did President Ji who never entertained women just asked about love?
Volt cleared his throat and touched his glasses as he come up with an answer. "I married her. Of course I lover her." he replied.
He already noticed earlier that Leo Ji was a bit distracted. He kept looking at his phone and playing with his pen. It was obvious that something was troubling him. "Do you need to love a person to marry her?" he asked next.
Volt blinked twice. What kind of question is that? He's what? Twenty-five years old? And he still didn't know the answer to such a simple question? But... Oh well... He's not a regular person anyway.
"Ordinary people like us marry for love. It's hard to get along with someone you don't like you know. You need to spend the rest of your life with her, after all." he responded. "But of course it might not be the case for the elites."
Leo Ji sighed, leaned on the backrest of his swivel chair and closed his eyes. Voltaire watched his boss in amusement. Leo Ji entered the office two years ago and now manages one of the companies under Ji Group. In his five years working in the company, he has never heard anything about this Ji heir's love life. A lot of women tried getting close to him but he shunned them all. There's even a rumor that this young and handsome bachelor likes men. He wondered how true that was.
"You know... I already have a fiancee since I was a little child. I'm open to the idea of marrying her but... I don't know if I like her." he recounted. "How do yo know if you like someone?"
Like a child asking for candy, Leo fixed his stares at his assistant. Voltaire felt awkward and hurriedly looked somewhere else. He's not very good at this field. He even wanted to laugh at his silly boss' naivety but he remembered how important his job is so he squeezed his brain thinking of an acceptable answer. It was hard though. He didn't sign to work as a love guru!
"Well... for me... I like my wife's face. When I'm with her, I can't stop looking at her face. It gives me a kind of happy feeling.... Second, I like talking to her. I don't find her boring at all. I enjoy spending time with her.... Third, I miss her when we are apart. Like really miss her! Another one is..... " Volt stopped. How can he possibly continue that sentence? "Forget it. Just let me ask you this question.... Do you find your fiancee's face captivating?"
Leo nodded. Volt then asked, "Who else do you find as gorgeous as her?"
Leo: "No one".
Volt: "Do you often miss her when she's not around?"
Leo: "So much."
Volt: "Do you dream of her at night?"
Leo: "A lot."
Volt: "Do you hate it when she's having fun with other men?"
Leo took a deep breath... "Always." he replied.
Voltaire then met his eyes. "Then... do you want to sleep with her? That's a very important question because you must want her. All of her. And her alone."
Leo went silent. Yes. Perhaps he really likes her... He should start admitting that to his own self. Then a question entered his mind. He wants her, but does she still want him?

Jienna opened her eyes slowly and surveyed the room. Confused, she tried getting up but she was just too weak. What's happening? Where is she; she asked herself. A moment later, Charmaine came in and saw her sister already awake. She ran towards her and hugged her tight.
"How are you feeling?" she asked in a worried voice. "You're already like this and you didn't even tell me? I already signed you for treatment. From now on, I'm in charge!" she scolded her.
Jienna stared at her for a while before tears started falling from her eyes. Charmaine quickly panicked and took out a handkerchief to wipe her tears and embraced her. "What's wrong? Where does it hurt? Was I too harsh? I was just kidding! Don't cry anymore!" she consoled her.
Jienna held her hand tightly and closes her eyes. "I don't deserve you." she whispered. She had the most wonderful sister in the world but she didn't cherish her. She regret it. She deeply regret it.
"Don't say that. You're my family." she replied. Charmaine knew Jienna was hurting and she really wished she could help her but...
Jienna pushed her away. "Family? Do you even know I'm not a Song?" she uttered and then waited for Charmaine's reaction but there was none. She just caressed her hair and looked at her with concern. "You knew? You knew that I'm not your real sister? You knew all along?" she asked with trembling voice, but Charmaine still remained silent.
Jienna started sobbing again. Charmaine knew she was adopted? A parasite competing with her for everything, but she didn't hate her for it? She's now convinced that she deserved where she is.
"I guess this is my retribution.... Xiaomin, You should hate me. I'm not the good sister you think I am." she stated.
Charmaine shook her head. "No. I hate you no matter what. I know you. You don't have to worry about everything." she went on coaxing her.
"You're wrong. You don't know me!" she yelled. "On the night of Leo's birthday, I slipped drugs in your drink. I asked Laura to take you to Jun's room... I just didn't know why she took you to Leo's room instead! The next morning, when I found out you slept with Leo, I was so angry I asked someone to tamper with your car!" she revealed, yet just like before, Charmaine remained calm.
"It's in the past now. You don't have to blame yourself anymore... I understand you." Charmaine kindly replied.
Jienna's eyes widened. "You're not surprised? You knew about that, too?"
Charmaine looked away. "I know a lot of things. I know that you also drugged Leo on the night of March 22 because you wanted to sleep with him, but you didn't succeed so you tried again while I was in a coma." she told her. She then turned to meet her eyes. "I'm telling you, it's alright. I forgive you... because you're my only sister..."
Yes. She knew about Jienna's secret because her premonition revealed them to her. She has been through a lot and whenever she remember how Jienna fell to her death because of her, she couldn't help but feel guilty. How could she hate her when she knew she had once taken her life?
Jienna grabbed the blanket and covered her face. She then started bawling her eyes out under the sheet. She wronged her sister and this is her karma. She now only have a few months to live.
"I'm sorry.... I'm sorry, Xiaomin." she uttered between sobs.
