Hanma Dojo, Changing Room
'Hmph. I lost. Not surprising really, but man was that fight EXCITING Hahaha!!'
Are the thoughts that passed through the injured Sanosuke's mind as he finished taking a military shower at the dojo and got dressed after waking up after the fight.
'That was the greatest, most exhilarating fight I have ever had, and I improved so much during that fight! Six months ago, grandpa didn't put in even a fourth as much effort as he did this time. I even got stronger too hm?'
When Sanosuke finally finished getting ready he just casually walks back into the main dojo room where everybody was waiting in the middle, standing there patiently waiting for him with an air of formality and seriousness.
Once he stood before his mother, Akane Hanma, and his grandfather, Hayato Furinji, he calmly and patiently stood proudly before them, waiting for the final speech and for his new title and certificate to be given to him.
After a minute of observing him, his mother stepped forward holding a wrapped bundle in her hands before speaking.
"Master Hanma, after observing your tests and witnessing your fight, we have all come to a unanimous decision that you have successfully passed and are from now on, Grandmaster Sanosuke Hanma!"
"With this new ranking, you are granted the privilege to create and teach your own dojo or branch of martial arts at your discretion with full support from the Hanma-Furinji Martial Alliance."
After saying this, Akane handed Sanosuke the package in her hand before speaking.
"Enclosed in this package is your own custom Martial Outfit with your own symbol on the front and the Martial Alliance symbol on the back, an updated martial arts ranking and teaching certification, and a new gi belt."
"Accept them with pride, Grandmaster Hanma, and may you succeed in your future endeavors. I am so very proud of you."
After she finished speaking, the three masters stepped forward and congratulated him and wished him well before leaving for their homes.
Once they left, it was only Sanosuke and his family left. It was at this point that Elder Furinji finally stepped forward and laughed while patting Sanosuke's shoulders firmly.
"Hohoho! Congratulations my boy! You have improved tremendously since our last spar. I actually had to put in some effort this time. Hohoho!"
Upon hearing this, Sanosuke's eyebrow twitched minutely while smirking at his grandpa.
"Hah! Careful grandpa, if you don't step up your own training, then I will soon surpass you in the next couple years, three at the most."
Upon hearing Sanosuke's challenging reply, Elder Furinji just laughed loudly.
"Hohoho! I don't doubt it my boy! But you aren't the only one waiting for a good fight, nor will I give up my title as the Strongest to you that easily. Hohoho!"
Sighing fondly with exasperation, Akane Hanma intervenes before they decided to have another spar so soon after the last one.
"Ok you two, that's enough. Let's go home and have some dinner. The smoken chicken, brisket, ribs and fish should all be finished by now. I know how hungry you get after a fight Sanosuke. Save the showboating for latter."
Once Sanosuke heard the magic words of dinner, smoked, chicken and brisket come out of her mouth, he immediately smiled a large smile, which unlike his usual ones, was that of pure happiness and joy of a good meal.
"Well then, what are we waiting for?! Food awaits!" Before bolting out of the dojo doors and rushing towards his home.
Seeing this, both Sanosuke's mother and grandfather smiled and laughed before following him at a more sedate pace.
"If I'm not mistaken, Sanosuke plans on taking the U.A. Hero Department Entrance Exams correct? That should be next week if I'm not mistaken."
Hearing her father speak, Akane smiled a smile only a proud, loving mother or father could smile.
"Yes, and I can't wait to see him accomplish his dreams of becoming the most powerful Hero."
It was as she finished speaking that the duo walked through the front doors of the Hanma Residence. After a few minutes of changing their clothes and nearing up with Sanosuke in the kitchen, they all sat down and ate a nice, albeit obscene amounts' of food as a family.
'Yes, I really can't wait. But I'm going to miss these days once he finally leaves. My baby boy, my little dictator.'
