You know the saying 'your life flashes before your life when you die'?
This was nothing like that, it wasn't as fast and it wasn't clear all the time as if certain parts weren't ment to be seen yet by me or I wasn't strong enough to understand them even if I saw it and I wasn't seeing one life after the next but as if they were over lapping each other.
An example would be if you stood at a tree seeing multiple stages of time and reality of it, seeing it as a seedling, grown, dying, burning and frozen at all once but all on the own.
With this flood of memories I blacked out like it all just fried my brain 'so much for wanting to avoid doing that mother...'
With all the over lapping and pretty pictures going through my mind I honestly only feel like I processed a small fraction of it..well ok I only really paid attention to four lines of memories out of the thousand or more that the four were the only real clear ones to me.
The first life was the one I just had the life of a Soldier, I didn't need the memory of my family ripped to shreds refreshed but that's what I got, the wars I've fought in, the cities I watched burn by my hands and the cities I tried to keep from burning, the friends I made and the enemies that out numbered them.
The second life was one of a mage rather energetic one he was of course that had nothing to do with all the lightning I saw.. not at all.. out going, loud and always happy to dive into new projects, the young mage almost reaching the 'Master class' in close quarter lighting spells and long distance transmission.
The third was a all round crafter from what I saw he was not a master crafter or legendary smith just simple man who tried his best to make a living sometimes the craft been on the darker side of life, poisons and hidden devices.
The fourth was actually that of a simple hunter moving through the trees with his spirt bonded bird, staying within the borders of the forest till war arrived and the sparks started to rain on his home.
Four lives to been seen but nearly a thousand still bound into one soul, and yet the same four lives kept coming out on replay becoming clear each time with them been burned in my soul, feeling their energies becoming synchronised with each other.
All the experiences of each life combined, all the emotions of joy, guilt, pride, hate and rage flooding and leveling out. All these memories, beliefs and personalities twisting into one true personality.
The strong will and sturdiness of the soldier with his duty bound life and skills of war.
The energy and desire to learn like a mage with the law of lightning at his finger tips.
The ability to fix any issues that come his way or to make an even nastier way to pass those obstacles.
The senses and calm nature of the forest hunter able to see a leaf fall a thousand yards away and the ability to bond with creatures.
