''I will definitely become an Accountant someday!" These were the words Alicia always told herself whenever she encounters difficulty on her studies.
Alicia Velez is the eldest daughter in the family. She has two other younger brothers and the youngest among them is a sister. Her father is an engineer while her mother is busy working at their own mini grocery store. They were not considered influencers in their community since they were considered as average in status. However, the Velez siblings were known to be intelligent and were breathtakingly beautiful and handsome. These physical traits were inherited from their parents.
Alicia knew that the income her father make cannot completely cater all the needs and wants the family needs. The income from their mini grocery is a great help but could not fully cover the other expenses in the household. Although they do not have much, she is still very grateful for the family she have. And because of that, she has in her heart that she will succeed in her dreams which is to become a renowned Accountant that will work at CJM Auditing Firm. A very renowned auditing firm on its very strict and very determined standards.
"Mom! Mom! Look at our preboard exams!! I just scored 3rd on our province!" Alice excitedly told her mother regarding the good news. Her mother who was busy doing the inventory immediately stop counting and reach the cellphone Alicia was holding.
"Ohh you are really the best my beautiful daughter! You have 4 months more before taking the board exam yet you really made us proud to this extent already!" Her mother happily told her as they both hug and kiss her daughter on the forehead.
In the evening while having their dinner, the family were very happy about the good news. It just so happen that Carl, the second son had passed also the scholarship exam given by a prestigious University in the nearby city. The atmosphere at home is indeed very lively. Nothing can a parent ask for more for their children but just sense of responsibility. They were truly raised with proper values by their parents.
'beep..beep' A message was received by Alicia
when she is about to close her eyes it suddenly lighted up like a christmas lights tangled on a gigantic christmas tree upon reading the message. " Congratulations baby, I know you can make it to the top three. Love, Terrence." Alicia's heart felt as if it was dancing joyfully.
Terrence Cheng is her childhood best friend. They were been together since first grade. He was raised not by his parents but his grandparents. He has lived a blissful life since he was provided everything he needed. Cheng is a very known family in the country. They were one of the richest family in the country. They were veterans in running an empire. Although rich and could have everything he wanted, one thing he is envy about is the love of his parents which he can not afford. No wonder he is a rebelluous man but soft hearted when it comes to the very persons who raised him- his grand parents.
Terrence and Alicia was actually no romantic label. They were just best friends but Terrence knew from the very beginning that Alicia had a secret crush on him. She had made his assignments, projects, seldom run errands for him and is always by his side in every twist of his life. Alicia is very familiar with his gestures, his emotions and expressions, his likes and dislikes and his attitude towards everybody. He best understood his character as much as his grand parents understands him.
On the other hand, Terrence is as opposite as they were. She treated Alicia as her best friend but could not even tell her favorite food. Well, he knew few of her likes and dislikes. He just like hanging on with Alicia since she was sometimes favored by his grandparents. She sometimes used Alicia's name to his grandparents to get what he wants or when he feels like escaping home.
He is 3 years older than Alicia but acts like a immaturely more than Alicia. He is already 23 but still have not settled for a job. Well, its not an issue for him since he have unlimited resources from his grandparents and parents.
Alicia was used to Terrence calling him 'baby' but what makes her heart dances that night was it was the first time Terrence had used the word 'love' on his text message.
In the morning, Terrence had surprisingly visited Alicia at home. He brought a bouquet with red roses in it. He also brought a congratulatory cake for Alicia. Right when he arrived at Alicia' home he greeted straight to Alicia's parents. He is very good at making a topic to her parents. Well he likes Alicia's parents since he was adoring them how they perfectly raise a family. Since her parents knew Terrence for the past 15 years, they had already trusted this man to be with their daughter. He was allowed to walk near Alicia's room but was never allowed to enter her room.

"Rise and shine Alicia!"

"Alicia?? Uhmm good morning??"
(no answer)
"Hey?? Are you mad at me??" Terrence teasingly asked while holding the bouquet on his arms to surprise her.
"I'm coming!" Alicia lazily answered while opening the door. Upon seeing the bouquet held by Terrence, Alicia's cheeks blush like she was being drunk.
" What did you eat yesterday? It seems like you eaten raw meat haha!" She was teasing Terrence since it was the very first time he gave her flowers but deep in her heart she was very happy and has started to put up hopes on him that he could return the feelings she have for him.
"Congratulations my Alicia!" he happily shouted and hurriedly hug her where Alicia's parents could not see.
Alicia was used to Terrence being very clingy. But him being clingy made her sometimes aches her heart since Terrence embraces everytime he would like to. And who could have refused such a man? He was born with a divided chin, with a very mesmerizing smile, his eyes was very seductive matching his thin red lips. He was 6 feet tall, skin as soft as a feather. Black hair that fits the pale color of his skin. Not to mention, his 8 packs abs. Aside from his physical appearance, he was born rich, extremely rich. A perfect boyfriend material.
